Holbox Dream Beachfront Hotel

The location was perfect ! The weather the staff . We rented the condo second floor (two flights of narrow wooden stairs)its located in front of the reception check in area. Our family of five had no complaints in this apartment. It has four beds two bedrooms (king size beds)and a half room( a queen bed and a twin bed ) with a wall next to the kitchen for privacy no door but a wall with an opening . One restroom and a full kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, all utensils you need to cook .The hotel provides a huge jug of drinking water .You couldn’t hear any noise at all or music as others complained . The management at the front desk was great . Javi the front desk manager was super nice . Unlike the other reviews no idea what they were talking about front desk being rude, it was not the case at all . Also the bar by the pool was awesome . Please note there is two pools . Roxanna was super nice and friendly I recommend her . No one tried to get you for the tip as others stated ! The food is amazing and from 5-7pm they have 2 for 1 on margaritas. Which for us it was a great bargain . They have really good options in the bar area. There are three raccoons that come out while you are at the pool they are harmless animals. The free breakfast every morning was amazing you can ask for your eggs to be made aside from what is there if you like fyi only the eggs not the other food items that are included in the breakfast buffet . Every morning they had different options . Breakfast is from 8-10:30am. I recommend this place 100%! Its about 2-3 blocks from everything . There is also the animal shelter a block away which you can volunteer to walk a dog or pet a dog or cat. I am definitely returning and staying here . Please don’t get scammed at the ferry upon arrival for a taxi service (another couple got scammed $60.00 dollars fee). Cute decor and very nicely appointed rooms, although the room size is quite small. Great location including beach access with nice sun loungers and a nice, small, pool area. Very close to all the other restaurants and bars, but it also has a good restaurant/bar onsite. It's fun to rent a golf cart to explore the island, as it is very small. I did feel the price was quite expensive for what you got here, but then again it is Holbox and options are limited. The beach access is essential as otherwise you would have to pay to go to a beach club. Breakfast was good, simple but fresh, with enough variety and frequently replenished. Staff do not speak much english but are very friendly and accomodating.

Breakfast was excellent, varied daily & staff very efficient. Beach loungers were comfortable although if you weren’t out early you may not have got one. Staff in beach area were very friendly & attentive. Room was a nice size with very comfortable beds. Grounds were always raked and neat every morning. Beach club had a good menu of food & drinks with many options to choose from.

Beautiful large room with large balcony and stunning view. Great breakfast offering each morning and always kept fresh and replenished. Great location on the beach and short walk to centre! All the Staff very friendly and helpful. Serenity beach area was so chilled and relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel was great. I was doubting when booking between several hotels but I'm glad we chose this one. It has a very nice pool, right in front of the beach. We had an amazing room, which had a true vacation vibe. Love the shell faucet! It was a short walk to the center of town. Breakfast was also good. We extended for an additional night because we liked it that much. The raccoons that come out at night are very cute and very harmless. It was fun to sit and watch them.
